and Workshops
The GDA has a tradition of
running very successful courses for many years in all aspects of drama. Following
feedback from a questionnaire survey from member societies, we are currently
investigating the best sources for the courses identified. Please be patient: we will be announcing the
next course in the not-too-distant future. We, of course, always welcome
suggestions for new courses.
‘Slapping on the Greasepaint’
Workshop in November
This very successful make-up
course was run by Max Van Der Banks, a professional make -up artist who has
worked on both stage and screen productions, on Sunday 19th November. Thanks to Lechlade Players for hosting the
event, which demonstrated what am-dram groups, performing a variety of
different shows, need in their make-up box and the fundamentals of applying the
products, including ageing techniques, facial hair etc.
